Appeon PowerServer success story

Learn a multi-tenant 50k-user PowerServer success story for HR and performance management in the Italian Healthcare. Topics covered are strategic decisions and ROI of using PowerServer framework to build from ground up the AlfaBox PB application currently used by 66 institutions and 500 concurrent users on average. AlfaBox has beed used for a decade as Installable Web App (IWA) and it is in the process of completing full migration to Installable Cloud App (ICA). This PB-centric application is integrated with third party software via .NET Datastore REST API and a number of accessory frameworks.

Configurable JSON import with PowerBuilder

  • how to display JSON files as TreeView with PowerBuilder
  • use drag & drop to define mappings between the elements of a JSON file and columns of a data window,
  • import data from JSON files into PowerBuilder apps from this assignment using a configuration file.
